This article explains the steps to install Foxit Reader on MAC OSX using homebrew cask

  • App Name – Foxit Reader
  • App Version – 4.0.0
  • App url – https://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf-reader/
  • App dmg file – packagedmglink
  • App appcast link – https://www.foxitsoftware.com/downloads/downloadForm.php?retJson=1&product=Foxit-Reader&platform=Mac-OS-X

Steps To Install Foxit Reader

  • Open Spotlight search using “command + space” button and type “Terminal“. Then press “return/enter” key. This will open terminal.

  • Run the following command in terminal to install brew cask

    ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null

    Install brew cask on mac

  • Now install Foxit Reader with the following command

    brew install --cask foxitreader

  • Foxit Reader is installed now and ready to use!
