This article explains the steps to install X Lossless Decoder on MAC OSX using homebrew cask

  • App Name – X Lossless Decoder
  • App Version – 2019.10.04
  • App url – https://tmkk.undo.jp/xld/index_e.html
  • App dmg file – packagedmglink
  • App appcast link – https://svn.code.sf.net/p/xld/code/appcast/xld-appcast_e.xml

Steps To Install X Lossless Decoder

  • Open Spotlight search using “command + space” button and type “Terminal“. Then press “return/enter” key. This will open terminal.

  • Run the following command in terminal to install brew cask

    ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null

    Install brew cask on mac

  • Now install X Lossless Decoder with the following command

    brew install --cask xld

  • X Lossless Decoder is installed now and ready to use!
