Easy steps to install gdcm package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – gdcm
What is gdcm – Not Available for gdcm
Use of gdcm – Grassroots DICOM library and utilities for medical files
URL – https://sourceforge.net/projects/gdcm/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing <command+space>. Type terminal and hit Enter key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install gdcm using brew 
    brew install gdcm

gdcm is ready to use now!
