Easy steps to install healpix package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – healpix
What is healpix – Not Available for healpix
Use of healpix – Hierarchical Equal Area isoLatitude Pixelization of a sphere
URL – https://healpix.jpl.nasa.gov

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing <command+space>. Type terminal and hit Enter key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install healpix using brew 
    brew install healpix

healpix is ready to use now!
