Easy steps to install libolm package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – libolm
What is libolm – For instance, OSX doesn’t have a python2 symlink, otherwise we’d use /usr/bin/env python2 … libolm can be used in different environments using bindings.
Use of libolm – Implementation of the Double Ratchet cryptographic ratchet
URL – https://gitlab.matrix.org/matrix-org/olm

Installation Steps:

1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.



2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null



3. Install libolm using brew

   brew install libolm

libolm  is ready to use now!
