Easy steps to install libpthread-stubs package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – libpthread-stubs
What is libpthread-stubs – Not Available for libpthread-stubs
Use of libpthread-stubs – X.Org: pthread-stubs.pc
URL – https://www.x.org/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install libpthread-stubs using brew 
    brew install libpthread-stubs

libpthread-stubs  is ready to use now!
