Easy steps to install checkov package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – checkov
What is checkov – Not Available for checkov
Use of checkov – Prevent cloud misconfigurations during build-time for IaC tools
URL – https://www.checkov.io/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing <command+space>. Type terminal and hit Enter key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install checkov using brew 
    brew install checkov

checkov is ready to use now!
