Easy steps to install cpplint package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – cpplint
What is cpplint – Static code checker for C++. Contribute to cpplint/cpplint development by creating an account on GitHub.
Use of cpplint – Static code checker for C++
URL – https://pypi.org/project/cpplint/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing <command+space>. Type terminal and hit Enter key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install cpplint using brew 
    brew install cpplint

cpplint is ready to use now!
