Easy steps to install istioctl package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – istioctl
What is istioctl – Not Available for istioctl
Use of istioctl – Istio configuration command-line utility
URL – https://istio.io/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing <command+space>. Type terminal and hit Enter key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install istioctl using brew 
    brew install istioctl

istioctl is ready to use now!
