Easy steps to install kallisto package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – kallisto
What is kallisto – Not Available for kallisto
Use of kallisto – Quantify abundances of transcripts from RNA-Seq data
URL – https://pachterlab.github.io/kallisto/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing <command+space>. Type terminal and hit Enter key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install kallisto using brew 
    brew install kallisto

kallisto is ready to use now!
