Easy steps to install kim-api package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – kim-api
What is kim-api – Not Available for kim-api
Use of kim-api – Knowledgebase of Interatomic Models (KIM) API
URL – https://openkim.org

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install kim-api using brew 
    brew install kim-api

kim-api  is ready to use now!
