Easy steps to install ktlint package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – ktlint
What is ktlint – An anti-bikeshedding Kotlin linter with built-in formatter.
Use of ktlint – Anti-bikeshedding Kotlin linter with built-in formatter
URL – https://ktlint.github.io/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install ktlint using brew 
    brew install ktlint

ktlint  is ready to use now!
