Easy steps to install libaio package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – libaio
What is libaio – Not Available for libaio
Use of libaio – Linux-native asynchronous I/O access library
URL – https://pagure.io/libaio

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install libaio using brew 
    brew install libaio

libaio  is ready to use now!
