Easy steps to install libvmaf package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – libvmaf
What is libvmaf – Not Available for libvmaf
Use of libvmaf – Perceptual video quality assessment based on multi-method fusion
URL – https://github.com/Netflix/vmaf

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install libvmaf using brew 
    brew install libvmaf

libvmaf  is ready to use now!
