Easy steps to install libxft package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – libxft
What is libxft – Error libXft.2.dylib on MAC. Learn more about linux, ubuntu, mac MATLAB.
Use of libxft – X.Org: X FreeType library
URL – https://www.x.org/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install libxft using brew 
    brew install libxft

libxft  is ready to use now!
