Easy steps to install nlopt package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – nlopt
What is nlopt – Not Available for nlopt
Use of nlopt – Free/open-source library for nonlinear optimization

Installation Steps:

1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.



2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null



3. Install nlopt using brew

   brew install nlopt

nlopt  is ready to use now!
