Easy steps to install ntfs-3g package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – ntfs-3g
What is ntfs-3g – Not Available for ntfs-3g
Use of ntfs-3g – Read-write NTFS driver for FUSE
URL – https://www.tuxera.com/community/open-source-ntfs-3g/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install ntfs-3g using brew 
    brew install ntfs-3g

ntfs-3g  is ready to use now!
