Easy steps to install oci-cli package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – oci-cli
What is oci-cli – Not Available for oci-cli
Use of oci-cli – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure CLI
URL – https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/API/Concepts/cliconcepts.htm

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install oci-cli using brew 
    brew install oci-cli

oci-cli  is ready to use now!
