Easy steps to install ocrmypdf package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – ocrmypdf
What is ocrmypdf – Not Available for ocrmypdf
Use of ocrmypdf – Adds an OCR text layer to scanned PDF files
URL – https://github.com/jbarlow83/OCRmyPDF

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install ocrmypdf using brew 
    brew install ocrmypdf

ocrmypdf  is ready to use now!
