Easy steps to install openjdk@8 package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – openjdk@8
What is openjdk@8 – Not Available for openjdk@8
Use of openjdk@8 – Development kit for the Java programming language
URL – https://openjdk.java.net/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install openjdk@8 using brew 
    brew install openjdk@8

openjdk@8  is ready to use now!
