Easy steps to install osmium-tool package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – osmium-tool
What is osmium-tool – Not Available for osmium-tool
Use of osmium-tool – Libosmium-based command-line tool for processing OpenStreetMap data
URL – https://osmcode.org/osmium-tool/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install osmium-tool using brew 
    brew install osmium-tool

osmium-tool  is ready to use now!
