Easy steps to install pcapplusplus package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – pcapplusplus
What is pcapplusplus – Not Available for pcapplusplus
Use of pcapplusplus – C++ network sniffing, packet parsing and crafting framework
URL – https://pcapplusplus.github.io

Installation Steps:

1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.



2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null



3. Install pcapplusplus using brew

   brew install pcapplusplus

pcapplusplus  is ready to use now!
