Easy steps to install prodigal package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – prodigal
What is prodigal – Not Available for prodigal
Use of prodigal – Microbial gene prediction
URL – https://github.com/hyattpd/Prodigal

Installation Steps:

1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.



2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null



3. Install prodigal using brew

   brew install prodigal

prodigal  is ready to use now!
