Easy steps to install python-yq package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – python-yq
What is python-yq – Not Available for python-yq
Use of python-yq – Command-line YAML and XML processor that wraps jq
URL – https://kislyuk.github.io/yq/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install python-yq using brew 
    brew install python-yq

python-yq  is ready to use now!
