Easy steps to install scalapack package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – scalapack
What is scalapack – Not Available for scalapack
Use of scalapack – High-performance linear algebra for distributed memory machines
URL – https://www.netlib.org/scalapack/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install scalapack using brew 
    brew install scalapack

scalapack  is ready to use now!
