Easy steps to install superlu package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – superlu
What is superlu – Not Available for superlu
Use of superlu – Solve large, sparse nonsymmetric systems of equations
URL – https://portal.nersc.gov/project/sparse/superlu/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install superlu using brew 
    brew install superlu

superlu  is ready to use now!
