Easy steps to install usb.ids package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – usb.ids
What is usb.ids – Not Available for usb.ids
Use of usb.ids – Repository of vendor, device, subsystem and device class IDs used in USB devices
URL – http://www.linux-usb.org/usb-ids.html

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install usb.ids using brew 
    brew install usb.ids

usb.ids  is ready to use now!
