Easy steps to install uutils-coreutils package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – uutils-coreutils
What is uutils-coreutils – Not Available for uutils-coreutils
Use of uutils-coreutils – Cross-platform Rust rewrite of the GNU coreutils
URL – https://github.com/uutils/coreutils

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install uutils-coreutils using brew 
    brew install uutils-coreutils

uutils-coreutils  is ready to use now!
