Easy steps to install virustotal-cli package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – virustotal-cli
What is virustotal-cli – Not Available for virustotal-cli
Use of virustotal-cli – Command-line interface for VirusTotal
URL – https://github.com/VirusTotal/vt-cli

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install virustotal-cli using brew 
    brew install virustotal-cli

virustotal-cli  is ready to use now!
