Easy steps to install xidel package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – xidel
What is xidel – Not Available for xidel
Use of xidel – XPath/XQuery 3.0, JSONiq interpreter to extract data from HTML/XML/JSON

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install xidel using brew 
    brew install xidel

xidel  is ready to use now!
