Easy steps to install xmlsectool package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – xmlsectool
What is xmlsectool – Not Available for xmlsectool
Use of xmlsectool – Check schema validity and signature of an XML document
URL – https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/XSTJ3/Home

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install xmlsectool using brew 
    brew install xmlsectool

xmlsectool  is ready to use now!
