This article explains the steps to install Adobe AIR SDK on MAC OSX using homebrew cask

  • App Name – Adobe AIR SDK
  • App Version – 31.0.0.96
  • App url – https://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.html
  • App dmg file – packagedmglink
  • App appcast link – https://helpx.adobe.com/au/air/kb/archived-air-sdk-version.html

Steps To Install Adobe AIR SDK

  • Open Spotlight search using “command + space” button and type “Terminal“. Then press “return/enter” key. This will open terminal.

  • Run the following command in terminal to install brew cask

    ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null

    Install brew cask on mac

  • Now install Adobe AIR SDK with the following command

    brew install --cask adobe-air-sdk

  • Adobe AIR SDK is installed now and ready to use!
