This article explains the steps to install Apache Directory Studio on MAC OSX using homebrew cask

  • App Name – Apache Directory Studio
  • App Version – 2.0.0.v20200411-M15
  • App url – https://directory.apache.org/studio/
  • App dmg file – packagedmglink
  • App appcast link – http://apache.mirror.serversaustralia.com.au/directory/studio/

Steps To Install Apache Directory Studio

  • Open Spotlight search using “command + space” button and type “Terminal“. Then press “return/enter” key. This will open terminal.

  • Run the following command in terminal to install brew cask

    ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null

    Install brew cask on mac

  • Now install Apache Directory Studio with the following command

    brew install --cask apache-directory-studio

  • Apache Directory Studio is installed now and ready to use!
