Easy steps to install ccfits package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – ccfits
What is ccfits – Not Available for ccfits
Use of ccfits – Object oriented interface to the cfitsio library
URL – https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/fitsio/CCfits/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing <command+space>. Type terminal and hit Enter key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install ccfits using brew 
    brew install ccfits

ccfits is ready to use now!
