Easy steps to install cloudformation-guard package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – cloudformation-guard
What is cloudformation-guard – Not Available for cloudformation-guard
Use of cloudformation-guard – Checks CloudFormation templates for compliance using a declarative syntax
URL – https://github.com/aws-cloudformation/cloudformation-guard

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing <command+space>. Type terminal and hit Enter key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install cloudformation-guard using brew 
    brew install cloudformation-guard

cloudformation-guard is ready to use now!
