Easy steps to install crane package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – crane
What is crane – Not Available for crane
Use of crane – Tool for interacting with remote images and registries
URL – https://github.com/google/go-containerregistry

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing <command+space>. Type terminal and hit Enter key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install crane using brew 
    brew install crane

crane is ready to use now!
