Easy steps to install cyrus-sasl package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – cyrus-sasl
What is cyrus-sasl – Not Available for cyrus-sasl
Use of cyrus-sasl – Simple Authentication and Security Layer
URL – https://www.cyrusimap.org/sasl/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing <command+space>. Type terminal and hit Enter key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install cyrus-sasl using brew 
    brew install cyrus-sasl

cyrus-sasl is ready to use now!
