Easy steps to install detekt package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – detekt
What is detekt – Not Available for detekt
Use of detekt – Static code analysis for Kotlin
URL – https://github.com/detekt/detekt

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing <command+space>. Type terminal and hit Enter key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install detekt using brew 
    brew install detekt

detekt is ready to use now!
