Easy steps to install fastme package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – fastme
What is fastme – Not Available for fastme
Use of fastme – Accurate and fast distance-based phylogeny inference program
URL – http://www.atgc-montpellier.fr/fastme/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing <command+space>. Type terminal and hit Enter key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install fastme using brew 
    brew install fastme

fastme is ready to use now!
