This article explains the steps to install Garmin Connect IQ SDK on MAC OSX using homebrew cask

  • App Name – Garmin Connect IQ SDK
  • App Version – 3.0.9-2019-3-25-0df4ba2
  • App url – https://developer.garmin.com/connect-iq
  • App dmg file – packagedmglink
  • App appcast link – https://developer.garmin.com/connect-iq/sdk/

Steps To Install Garmin Connect IQ SDK

  • Open Spotlight search using “command + space” button and type “Terminal“. Then press “return/enter” key. This will open terminal.

  • Run the following command in terminal to install brew cask

    ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null

    Install brew cask on mac

  • Now install Garmin Connect IQ SDK with the following command

    brew install --cask connectiq

  • Garmin Connect IQ SDK is installed now and ready to use!
