This article explains the steps to install gifox on MAC OSX using homebrew cask

  • App Name – gifox
  • App Version – 2.1.4,020104.00
  • App url – https://gifox.io/
  • App dmg file – packagedmglink
  • App appcast link – https://www.macupdater.net/cgi-bin/extract_text/download_with_useragent.cgi?url=https://api.gifox.io/appcast?prereleases=false

Steps To Install gifox

  • Open Spotlight search using “command + space” button and type “Terminal“. Then press “return/enter” key. This will open terminal.

  • Run the following command in terminal to install brew cask

    ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null

    Install brew cask on mac

  • Now install gifox with the following command

    brew install --cask gifox

  • gifox is installed now and ready to use!
