Easy steps to install govc package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – govc
What is govc – Not Available for govc
Use of govc – Command-line tool for VMware vSphere
URL – https://github.com/vmware/govmomi/tree/master/govc

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing <command+space>. Type terminal and hit Enter key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install govc using brew 
    brew install govc

govc is ready to use now!
