Easy steps to install hwloc package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – hwloc
What is hwloc – Not Available for hwloc
Use of hwloc – Portable abstraction of the hierarchical topology of modern architectures
URL – https://www.open-mpi.org/projects/hwloc/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing <command+space>. Type terminal and hit Enter key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install hwloc using brew 
    brew install hwloc

hwloc is ready to use now!
