This article explains the steps to install Jetbrains PyCharm with Anaconda plugin on MAC OSX using homebrew cask

  • App Name – Jetbrains PyCharm with Anaconda plugin
  • App Version – 2020.1,201.6668.115
  • App url – https://www.jetbrains.com/pycharm/promo/anaconda
  • App dmg file – packagedmglink
  • App appcast link – https://data.services.jetbrains.com/products/releases?code=PCC&latest=true&type=release

Steps To Install Jetbrains PyCharm with Anaconda plugin

  • Open Spotlight search using “command + space” button and type “Terminal“. Then press “return/enter” key. This will open terminal.

  • Run the following command in terminal to install brew cask

    ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null

    Install brew cask on mac

  • Now install Jetbrains PyCharm with Anaconda plugin with the following command

    brew install --cask pycharm-with-anaconda-plugin

  • Jetbrains PyCharm with Anaconda plugin is installed now and ready to use!
