Easy steps to install jpeg-xl package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – jpeg-xl
What is jpeg-xl – Not Available for jpeg-xl
Use of jpeg-xl – New file format for still image compression
URL – https://jpeg.org/jpegxl/index.html

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing <command+space>. Type terminal and hit Enter key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install jpeg-xl using brew 
    brew install jpeg-xl

jpeg-xl is ready to use now!
