Easy steps to install krb5 package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – krb5
What is krb5 – Not Available for krb5
Use of krb5 – Network authentication protocol
URL – https://web.mit.edu/kerberos/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install krb5 using brew 
    brew install krb5

krb5  is ready to use now!
