Easy steps to install libserdes package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – libserdes
What is libserdes – Not Available for libserdes
Use of libserdes – Schema ser/deserializer lib for Avro + Confluent Schema Registry
URL – https://github.com/confluentinc/libserdes

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install libserdes using brew 
    brew install libserdes

libserdes  is ready to use now!
