This article explains the steps to install Lock Rattler on MAC OSX using homebrew cask

  • App Name – Lock Rattler
  • App Version – 4.24,2019.10
  • App url – https://eclecticlight.co/
  • App dmg file – packagedmglink
  • App appcast link – https://www.macupdater.net/cgi-bin/extract_text/extract_text_split_easy.cgi?url=https://raw.githubusercontent.com/hoakleyelc/updates/master/eclecticapps.plist&splitter_1=LockRattler&index_1=1&splitter_2=Version&index_2=1&splitter_3=dict&index_3=0

Steps To Install Lock Rattler

  • Open Spotlight search using “command + space” button and type “Terminal“. Then press “return/enter” key. This will open terminal.

  • Run the following command in terminal to install brew cask

    ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null

    Install brew cask on mac

  • Now install Lock Rattler with the following command

    brew install --cask lockrattler

  • Lock Rattler is installed now and ready to use!
