Easy steps to install lp_solve package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – lp_solve
What is lp_solve – Not Available for lp_solve
Use of lp_solve – Mixed integer linear programming solver
URL – https://sourceforge.net/projects/lpsolve/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install lp_solve using brew 
    brew install lp_solve

lp_solve  is ready to use now!
