This article explains the steps to install MarginNote on MAC OSX using homebrew cask

  • App Name – MarginNote
  • App Version – 3.6.7
  • App url – https://www.marginnote.com/
  • App dmg file – packagedmglink
  • App appcast link – https://api.appcenter.ms/v0.1/public/sparkle/apps/1451f4f6-9214-4d46-b91c-d5898c7e42cb

Steps To Install MarginNote

  • Open Spotlight search using “command + space” button and type “Terminal“. Then press “return/enter” key. This will open terminal.

  • Run the following command in terminal to install brew cask

    ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null

    Install brew cask on mac

  • Now install MarginNote with the following command

    brew install --cask marginnote

  • MarginNote is installed now and ready to use!
